part 363 paper snowflakes
It's... December! I can't believe it's almost the end of another year. Time is weird. Anyway! There's been a lot of neato Hetalia news in the meantime! That game (that I can't get working but will look at videos and screencaps of so I can play vicariously)! The image of the first doll! The musical promo images!! What are you most excited for?
Enjoy part 363!

Re: ITT: penny for your thoughts
...to wrITE YOUR NOVEL
Is this the one I think you mentioned about a vampire?
Re: ITT: penny for your thoughts
and yes, the one I have jotted down something for is the one with the vampire, thought I also have something for the one with elaborated worldbuilding but the first one is easier to write
how are you doing instead? I am terrible at following people so I don't know anything you might be in fact drawing all the kinky stuff you think about and I might just not know
Re: ITT: penny for your thoughts
I'm not, I'm drawing the exact opposite (for work). But I'm fine, somewhat stressed out but that's just the norm and after this one project wraps up I should be free for a couple weeks for the holidays.
Re: ITT: penny for your thoughts
I suspect it's going to be more along the lines of a collection of stories with the same protagonists, so I have no idea how long it's going to be.
it's always cool to have free time! you don't realize how great free time is until you have a job
Re: ITT: penny for your thoughts
Neat! What's your worldbuilding book idea about?
I dearly wish I could go back in time and punch myself for wasting the good year or so I was unemployed/underemployed after graduation, which I spent moping around feeling sorry for myself rather than enjoying the last long spell of free time I'd ever have.
Re: ITT: penny for your thoughts
The worldbuilding idea one is something like...steampunk Orlando Furioso (tone and characters and some subplots especially) with a sci-fi twist? That's the best I can do to explain without writing for an hour.
That's a mistake literally everybody I know has made. Like I don't know anybody who says "oh, I surely spent my last extended period of time of total freedom in an interesting and productive way!" It's all "god why did I waste so much time binge-watching Simpson reruns and eating ice-cream directly out of the tub, I could've learned a language/travelled the world/write a novel/paint the Sixtine Chapel in all that time!" I think it's just a part of becoming an adult, suddenly you realize time needs structure and it can't just be expected to fill itself with cool stuff and suddenly you're buying an organizer and scheduling and all that weird stuff you thought you would never ever do.
and now I think I'll go to sleep, goodnight!
Re: ITT: penny for your thoughts
Yep pretty much. I do regret not having traveled at some point, it's on my to-do list now but ughhh carving out the time...
Have a good night!
