part 363 paper snowflakes

It's... December! I can't believe it's almost the end of another year. Time is weird. Anyway! There's been a lot of neato Hetalia news in the meantime! That game (that I can't get working but will look at videos and screencaps of so I can play vicariously)! The image of the first doll! The musical promo images!! What are you most excited for?

Enjoy part 363!

pfffft but we merry cans think the same about europe as a whole

because europe = fancy shit and rich folks

the fancy suits, the fancy bags, the fancy food and the fancy cars all come from europe

speaking of england i'm planning a trip there with friends and hollllly fuck why is everything so expensive. we'd assumed england was going to be slightly more affordable than the other, more exotic-sounding countries because... well, i don't know, maybe because they speak english like us?

fun fact: everything in Britain costs about one time and a half what the same thing costs in mainland Europe (comparing here with countries that have a high cost of life to start with, too, like France or Germany) because they are an island and also because average salaries are higher because the Brits are filthy rich

places were you can travel for cheap in Europe do exist, but your best bet is to aim for a) less travelled roads (no big cities and big tourist traps) b) out-of-season c) Mediterranean Europe and Eastern Europe

(it is not just because I'm trying to make you visit Italy. In fact Italy is pretty expensive too. You should come visit anyway, eh, but fair warning. But take a look, France, Italy, Spain or even Germany might be more in-budget and just as fanciful)
