It's... December! I can't believe it's almost the end of another year. Time is weird. Anyway! There's been a lot of neato Hetalia news in the meantime! That game (that I can't get working but will look at videos and screencaps of so I can play vicariously)! The image of the first doll! The musical promo images!! What are you most excited for?

Top by kudos: Multichapter fairytale fic thing with each chapter a different pairing... so it's not really about them exactly. Doesn't look relevant to my interests.
#2: Denmark and Sweden switch partners. "Alternate universe -modern setting". NOPE
#3: Too many labels, wouldn't read
#4: ... is mine ffff. Though I'm actually rather happy with it. It's Denmark/Norway/Sweden, though.
#5: Somebody can see ghosts and their house is haunted. Would be fun if it weren't a human AU. Also I will never be able to look at the name Emil without thinking of the SSSS character.

searching for austria/prussia outright brings up a load of terrifyingly over-tagged multi-character stuff first, but the highest kudos'd actual pruaus fic is (surprise) a george devalier effort. it's a human AU and it has its...tropey elements, but i actually quite like it, so i'm pleasantly surprised to find it there instead of something terrible
there are EXTREMELY few female prussia/austria fics and the top one looks bad ("the BFT place bets on who can seduce so-and-so first!!")
female austria/female prussia brings up something about america first and foremost, first real fic is a historical AU tagged with "historical inaccuracy" (i know it, it's not horrible, but it's not interesting either)
