I have to be honest I spoiled myself seeing gifs of Lapis and Peridot on tumblr and then seeing the actual leaked clips on YouTube. Curse my curiosity! I hope those episodes will air on television soon, this hiatuses is murder.

Now back to Sailor Moon, are you excited for Sailor Moon Crystal's Infinity Arc anon? I'm holding any judgement until it airs, but it looks promising!

I did too, I love the show so much I couldn't wait.

I ammmmmmmm. I wasn't crazy about the first episodes of Crystal but it's grown on me. Plus URANUS, NEPTUNE, SATURN, AND A BIGGER BUDGET!! Well. Slightly bigger budget.

Have you watched any of the new English dub?

Same, but did sure as Hell laugh going through that Sailor Moon Crystal failures blog - man are those off shots of animation hilarious.

I think my only gripe with Crystal is that they made Princess Serenity blonde like the original anime. She looks much better with white or silver hair in my opinion. I kind of wish in general Naoko's original idea of Usagi's hair turning white/silver when she transformed was kept.

Yes a couple of episodes and I like the English actress who voices Usagi! I also like Kunzite's voice too, I mistook it as Vegeta's voice oops.

Yessssss I also want more Yellow Diamond's snarky little Pearl.

I love that blog and also the outrage people feel at it. Like, I can enjoy Crystal, but it has so many animation fails. Bless its heart.

I wish they would have taken the chance with Crystal to incorporate stuff that Naoko cut out due to contraints, like the transforming silver hair. And masks, maybe.

It's hard getting used to them since I watched Sailor Moon on TV growing up so the original American dub voices are what I associate with them. Also I remember the voice of Sailor Mars back when she did voice acting stuff for Voice Acting Alliance way back in like 2002-2003.

have you watched any of the other Moon stuff, like the musicals or PGSM? For me--cheesy fights aside--PGSM is my favorite Sailor Moon version after the manga.

Plus I need Pearl's backstory like so many questions - where did she come from? How did she meet Rose Quartz? The suspense is killing me!

I mean if the original Sailor Moon anime came out today you'd have a similar blog as well.

Oh same, same, especially with the DiC dub of Sailor Moon and its soundtrack. Still sing to Carry On, My Only Love, and The Power of Love, heh.

No I haven't but I should check it out, since a friend of mine say it's really cool despite the Power Rangers-sque action!

Also side note, did you noticed that in the manga, Princess Serenity's dress gradually becomes Neo-Queen Serenity's dress? Blew my mind when I first noticed it.

Haha true. THE SOOOOOOONGS. My friends and I would dramatically sing them while dressed up in our homemade Sailor Moon costumes. I still dramatically sing them when I'm home alone, just, without the costumes. Did you have friends who liked Sailor Moon when you were little?

Yes! Also at some point the Gems must have realized what their doing to the Earth was bad, because in like Cheeseburger Backpack, Pearl affectionately recalls the Sea Spire and is saddened that its fallen to disrepair. Like that implies something right there doesn't it?

I still sing to them aloud when I'm alone in my room. Works great to build up the motivation to get stuff done hahaha!
