right that!! though I've actually just been discussing this with a friend but ahh... it seems like... compared to before - lately when anime related things are being promoted, the companies go way all out promoting things now?? some of my older fandoms (most which were still popular while running) got hardly any [well or, impressive] merch at all, or just like keychain figures or the like, now you see all these newer fandoms with a super crazy good amount of merch and super impressive scale figures and ahh... also older series' revivals and their sudden huge merch revivals (looking at you CCS and to a lesser extent Digimon and YGO DM, Sailor Moon and Pokemon don't really count though because both always had a crazy amount of merch but yeah) (well I guess CCS did too bUT THAT LATEST SAKURA FIGURE IS CRAZY IMPRESSIVE COMPARED TO OLDER STUFF also the newer Sakura figures!)

(which isn't necessarily a bad thing!!) (good merch is good merch yes) (though hard on the wallet cries)

so actually seeing all of APH's merch lately I'm wondering if it means they're about to promote even more APH somehow?? NEW ANIME SEASON MAYBE?? at least that's what it's feeling like seeing such impressive merch!! it seems like a surprising amount for just new manga releases so ahh yeah...!

Hmm fair point. Similar large cast series with a broad appeal to fangirls these days have figurines up till here. Within months of popularity (or well, anime adaption) usually.

Heck, even things that seem more minor in all of it seem to have a lot of figs and merch out.

It does seem unusual to start pushing out all the expensive stuff so late into the show. It seems to still be related to all the beautiful world and world stars stuff. Perhaps there could be a new season? I wonder if it's because the hetalia fanbase is kinda a low running constant even now the hype has faded... The recent cafes were very booked each time I checked. And the one lottery they held at animate was sold out when they did.

I guess everything there it's a pretty safe bet cause hetalia is definitely still selling haha
