There used to be someone would post royalty news and facts and things here, and there was someone who would get super rustled about it.

and to clarify, I don't think we had a "royalist" or "anti-royalist" anon so much as we had someone who was interested in royalty and someone who hated it. I don't think anyone was a genuine royalist.

Mostly don't care, but there were times that that royalty obsessed anon got kind of annoying.

In fairness I would almost certainly be very pissed off about it if my country had royalty.

Yet nothing was actually royalist about the posts on the meme. It was mostly just sharing links to world news that happens to involve royalty because there are countries with royalty. I think they also did some picspams (remember picspams? ah those were good times) and book posts, and I also vaguely remember some historical posts for a week each year during International Princess Week.
