Sometimes to talk to a friend but that is not always possible and also when I am in a really bad mood I don't want to talk to anyone + I don't want to say something in anger that I'm going to regret/don't really mean. But if you need to vent, write about it. This can also help sort out the situation, because sometimes you're too full of feelings to see reason and you need to vent those feelings first in their raw form before you can calm down enough to see solutions. After giving it a little time and reading what you wrote in a calmer state, it might not seem so bad and/or you can see the other person's perspective more and/or see steps that can be taken to correct things.
