(Anonymous) 2018-08-02 02:03 am (UTC)(link)They did this reboot/redesign which focused on making the dolls cutesy and less threatening, and also make them look more like cute preteens instead of like ~cool Monster teens. The reboot also took away a lot of things like stands, changed the animal sidekicks and some backstories, etc. Fans young and old hated the reboot, kids weren't interested, and so the dolls releases trickled to almost nothing. I don't know if they even make new ones anymore or if they do they haven't in a long time.
