oooh i loved this both as a study of mama greece's character (♥ her acting like a scrappy youth) and the writing, especially with the little juxtapositions of her normally being restless and now unmoving like a statue, and opening up to the seascape vs cradling it close

Thank you!<33 I love the idea of young Hellas as this obnoxious little kid jumping into the world feet first before maturing into the dignified lady people look back to her as.

The creative process is so magical, I went into this wanting to write about young hellas and also a sunrise I watched from a ferry once, and in the process uncovered little gems like those juxtapositions. Glad you liked it!
