The fanciest things I collect are tiny handmade wabanaki (native american) baskets. I don't tend to buy the most expensive ones, which can cost hundreds of dollars, but I've deffo paid $50 for a single tiny basket before

The stupidest things I collect are tiny empty cardboard boxes that I swear I'll use as shadow boxes one day

Apparently if it's a very small container I love it and need it??

Nine! All of them are made of ash splints, most of them with sweetgrass accents, except one that's a birchbark bowl. Most of them aren't THAT expensive thankfully. I've been collecting for roughly 5 years.

I collect dolls. I have.... maybe 50? I think I will be cutting down my collection considerably though. Especially since I bought a loooot of MH dolls when I got into them but I don't care for them anymore.

i've got a few hoards

yarn, buttons, books, cats and cat-related things, pencils, craft stuff i'll never use, ribbon

sad news regarding the books though: i checked the library today and the area where the free books were is empty, cleaned out. even the shelf and signs were missing :( i hope it's just for the summer, or temporary, or until they get more donations they don't want? i hope they're not done though, it was a lot of fun! i got some pretty neat stuff there.

I'm a huge nerd about early-1900's cast iron skillets made in weird-Appalachian America. Sidney/Wagner and Griswold/Victory are the ones I find most at the flea markets and estate sales.
