Could I get some advice meme? It's nothing serious/life or death but I recently bought a small vintage card for 99 cents on ebay and the shipping was $1.99. But when I got it in the mail, the shipping (it was sent in a letter envelope) was only 49 cents, meaning I paid about triple what it actually cost to send. I was thinking of messaging the seller about it and asking for a refund for the difference but would that be petty?

shipper will probably say the cost of the packaging and the cost of their handling (i.e. going to the post office) accounts for the rest of the cost. it's unlikely that they would refund you.
