Hey meme... it's gonna be May! Which means it's spring for many people! Or, it should be, if the weather would decide to cooperate. I've been wanting to plant my jalapenos outside but it keeps getting randomly cold... I just want spicy peppers, weather! I mean come on.

Anyway. At least it's not snowing. Or eternally Halloween. If you know what I mean.

I've noticed that whenever I read Poland's dialogue (in a fic or canon) it never sounds right in my head! Sometimes I read him sounding like an actual teenage girl, sometimes I read him having a somewhat dopey voice...

and I always read Korea's dialogue in America's voice. Why

now that i think about it, i... i'm not sure i have a solid idea of anyone's voice in my imagination when i'm reading fic. besides maybe basic things like germany having a deep voice.

i always hated america's voice in the anime (basically i imagine the stereotypical obnoxious frat boy voice, instead), and russia's too (though in russia's case i think it works sometimes... though when i read fanfic with russia in it, i still always imagine a much deeper, slightly rough voice)

...somehow this just reminds me of that episode of Tiger & Bunny where they go to the school for aspiring superheroes but it turns out a lot of the students there have completely useless (or at least... unmarketable) superpowers like being able to generate abnormal amounts of sweat.
