watched guardians of the galaxy, and while i went into it not expecting much despite the glowing reviews, i was pleasantly surprised. i thought i was going to find it overrated, but honestly, this might be my favorite superhero movie yet, largely because it doesn't take itself seriously at all yet somehow manages to get the key emotional moments right when needed.

granted there's plenty to nitpick if you're looking for loopholes, but still. really my biggest gripe is that the head honcho bad guy looks really... goofy, and i think it's unintentionally so. the secondary bad guy who's the main bad guy for this movie looks cooler, more menacing.

I thought Loki's helmet was dumb and I know I'm in the minority but though I find Tom Hiddleston fairly attractive I think he looked horrible in those movies (the long hair didn't suit him, as far as I'm concerned)
