america never mutes his mic - AND has his volume all the way up - so the echo in the audio is literally maddening

japan is extra terrified of interrupting anyone

canada keeps forgetting to turn his mic on

england mutes other people and then forgets he muted them and wonders why they aren't saying anything

russia's screen looks like it froze but it didn't, he's just watching while sitting stone-still and dissociating really hard

italy literally can't stay in the camera

later china and germany have a NORMAL FUCKIGN CALL and mostly talk about pets and cooking

random question but does anyone use a personal humidifier?? do they.. help... with dry throat and such? all the past few weeks with the cold air coming in, i wake up every morning with like a.. old mummy throat

I have a little one! The, uhh, Crane Personal Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier. I have to clean it to start using it again, the air in the apartment's getting dry... I don't get dry throat, but my nose and skin get really dry all winter, and I think it helped a little? Mine is unfortunately too annoying to use at night, the sound and the power-light are really distracting. Try for as quiet a model as you can.

Before I got it I also used to heat water in my crockpot with the lid off. I've also heard you can leave bowls of water out, and dry your laundry in the bedroom with you!

so sometimes i read fic where A from pairing A/B is a creature like, idk, a merman or werewolf or whatever

and A ends up captured by a group of humans that B is a part of, and then starts developing a bond with B. which sure, that's exactly what i'm there for

but then the fic so often turns into nothing but A being all "gosh I sure do miss my old home/friends/family also B is really nice for not abusing me like the other humans but I'm so sad about my home though B is nice but aw I'm homesick" and they have no agency or any thoughts going on other than missing their home and liking B and they're just so passive/reactive instead of active. it becomes a drag to read
