I do graphic design and illustration for a science lab. I really love it, it's the best job I've ever had! (the fact that it's my first non-retail job has something to do with that, but my colleagues and work are also really nice!)

I am very lucky to be able to continue doing my job from home, and that there were no layoffs. While it's not our focus and it's not like every scientist here suddenly became a virologist, the lab was pretty good at pivoting certain groups to help with several aspects of the pandemic. Pretty proud to work here, even if I'm just off to the side drawin pictures, ahah.

the Grinch , Mickey's Christmas Carol, Little Women, some of the Rankin Bass ones, Elf, Eloise at Christmastime, The Polar Express, a few older cartoon Christmas specials are my favorites. but i will watch a lot of stuff; i like to try new Christmas movies if i can

i also really love It's a Wonderful Life and i know it "counts" but i don't really associate it with Christmas just because most of the movie isn't Christmas-y at all
