I really do miss the Christmas feeling. I miss opening presents on Christmas morning and doing stuff with them for the rest of the weekend, the excitement, the novelty. Even as a teenager, getting an expensive anime DVD box set and binge-watching it all weekend or a new video game and staying up all night to finish it. There was a buzz, a feeling there. Now there's nothing except hoping it didn't snow because my back hurts too much to shovel and half-heartedly putting on a christmas movie and not really watching it.

I had a dream where I was hired to transcribe live Kids in the Hall sketches. It was weird but the dream ended with this kid trying to kill a stink bug on set, and it kept making these little "Eeee,eee, eee" noises, then it flew towards me and on my shoulder and I like. put my head against it and FELT IT THERE then woke up and was terrified. but there was no real bug.
