Just when I was thinking of making an account on Pillowfort to avoid the twitter babies they said they where opening registrations on Feb. 5th so I held back to see how it went and if there would be on-site drama or more twitter babies there. And now apparently they found a lot of security breaches and the site is down with a letter saying "Pillowfort is down for a little while" and they are giving refunds.

I dunno if I avoided a bullet there or what but wew lad.

To me, it's not any worse than the original series, which was full of filler, "omg why are you focusing on THIS and not THAT," and characters not behaving in a very satisfying way except for a handful of episodes.

I have a soft spot for names that sound almost normal but aren't quite

The names in Octopus Pie are an excellent example, with characters like Everest and Rushmore Ning (aka Eve and Mor Ning), Marigold Fuchs, and.... Puget Sean.

I've done that kinda thing with one of my own characters, Patina Popova.
