So I'm really not one for fantasy novels, but I read about 50 pages of " The Wolf and the Woodsman" by Ava Reid in the library because the kids wanted to play there and I forgot my own books, and... seems pretty interesting. Might check it out once I'm done with a few other books.

I just got around to listening to this podcast (Author's Note) discussing Hetalia RP (mostly during the beginning of the fandom, I don't think the guest who's talking about it has done it recently)
and I just wanted to ask the RPers here (or anyone! or anyone who ever did on the meme back when it was on livejournal/on other communities) if you have similar experiences that you want to share
I'm really interested in this aspect of the fandom's history and I'd love to hear your thoughts

At what point do they start talking about examples of their experience? So far I've listened to up to the 38 minute mark and the only concrete things I heard was that the person roleplayed on Facebook and Tumblr, that the other RPers were older and it felt unsafe. The rest is about Hetalia in general or Hetalia cosplayers.

It was definitely scaled down (for good reason)

but that was probably the first time I got to watch/focus on so much of Womens' sports and I also watched a lot more of swimming than I normally did in past years, so that was fun (and gave me the lightest of nostalgia for Free!! too).

it was cute to see Japanese Aesthetics TM in places, like the set up for Equestrian (which I also managed to catch a bit of)

I honestly can't remember, was it usual for past Olympics to be broadcast during both morning-midday and evening hours?? I feel I was just able to catch more in general this year
