For me, it seems to come in waves. I live super cheaply most of the time, there's just not very much that I ever want. And then for a stretch of 2-3 months I'll be super into one of my hobbies and desperately want to buy EVERYTHING. I don't always give in to temptation, but whether or not I do the funny thing is that 2-3 months is guaranteed to be followed by a longer season of being meh about every possible purchase and going back to total frugality.

I just learned how to say "I'm a dragon" in Welsh so this is nice.

I've signed up for a lot of courses, but my main ones are Turkish & Spanish. I tried to do French, like earnestly tried but gave up in frustration because I couldn't hear the plurals and it kept counting me as wrong.

I got a sentence yesterday like "The men eat salt" which is pretty ew. I also got "You know nothing, Jon Snow" once, except I'm pretty sure they translated the "snow" part into the language.

I don't really mind, the new seiyuu voiced Oz in Pandora Hearts and had a convinving voice, and also seems to have had a number of lead roles according to her ANN listing, so that was a plus for me. Besides, this obviously isn't the first time this has happened with Crystal, it was to be expected.

I always thought Megumi was just a little overrated anyway.

I liked her in some of her classic anime roles, but she was in so much stuff too, so... /shrug

ebay's new bidding system is dangerously easy, holy shit. or it might not be so new, but it's new to me as i have not been on ebay in months if not a full year.

not that it's badly designed, but rather it's now so easy to bid when sniping because you don't have to manually enter your new bid, they put three potential next bid numbers as buttons.

ANYWAY long story short i got into this auction snipe panic which fueled me to keep clicking and bidding way higher than i should and right afterwards sudden deep relief that i didn't win because fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that would've been $70+ in USD, i'd only pay $25 under sane circumstances.

i hope the actual winner likes their item, i myself just got caught up in the bidding and threw out a ridiculous £28 bid at one point. yeesh. would've really regretted that had i won.
