We've been here over a year now! I can hardly believe it! Dreamwidth's been pretty good, I'd say, with almost no downtime to speak of and all that! Anyway... how is your spring going? Or I guess it's almost summer, isn't it? Hopefully it's been well! I've been catching up on work and new movies, all very exciting stuff, I'm sure.

I saw this in a historical fic and looked through the reviews but I couldn't find discussion or questions about it.

I thought Russia would be older than both of them because he was born as Novgorod in the 9th century, while Poland was born in the 10th and Lithuania 1009?

And they certainly don't look older than Russia, they could be twink pornstars if they wanted.

When Russia and Liet met as children they looked about the same age? Maybe Russia was smaller, even, but this could be from him having poor health and development compared to Liet.

They've actually got a new owner recently and they've been posting updates and--this is really shocking--actually seem to be listening to users more. They even cancelled a planned change due to negative response (+1s and listing comments on a page by popularity instead of time) and created an opt-in/opt-out for a subject line change.

I was dubious from the title, but I think they do have some good points. However, at this point, the money's already gone; winning or losing can't change that. And even if they do win, I think people will (and rightly so!) still be angry and recognize that the way the money was prioritized was wrong and unethical.
